Over here at Eagle Eye, we are reminded daily of how silly it is that college acceptance should be based on tests that don’t really test the skills and knowledge that students have acquired in high schools nor test the skills and knowledge that will lead to success. Nonetheless, we do excel in preparing students for the tests, which may be silly but are also quite critical. Here’s an example of silly and serious research that we can definitely get behind! It doesn’t get more real than an investigation of the practicalities of the alleged Viking “Blood Eagle” torture! (NOT for the squeamish!)
