On the SAT reading sections, you always have to read carefully, but sometimes you will need to stop and figure out what a sentence means before moving to the next sentence or paragraph. Even strong readers will need to pause and consider. That’s normal. The reading passages are tough, but frequently pretty interesting and occasionally well-written.
