Over here at Eagle Eye we are delighted at this news! The Mt. Zion/Female Union Band Cemeteries were saved after decades of legal battles, and this is the consecrated ground that we research in our Headstones and History: Black Lives Mattered course. The men and women who fought to preserve this land are heroes. Those who fought for the recognition of the Moses Cemetery are heroes, too. They should be celebrated. Congratulations on a noble battle and an important victory!
